The Battle of Britain is lost and London is occupied. Be part of Coward's PEACE IN OUR TIME - now to be serialised as an audio drama by Digital Drama.
A message from Kate and Ali from Digital Drama:
Hello, we're Kate and Ali from Digital Drama. Kate first came across Noël Coward’s play Peace in Our Time a few months ago whilst browsing in a second hand book store. Neither of us had heard of the play or seen it performed on stage, despite being fans of Coward's work. On reading the script we immediately thought it would make a brilliant audio drama. BBC writer Martyn Wade has been commissioned by Digital Drama to adapt the stage play for audio and we now have the backing of the Arts Council and the Noël Coward Foundation to produce it as an eight part serial podcast, but we still need your help to bring this production to life.
The play is perfect for adaptation as a podcast serial. Not only does it have a series of highly dramatic cliffhangers at the end of each scene, it has a very large cast of 42 characters, meaning that it is rarely produced in the theatre. We have just finished a cast read-through and need your support to raise funds to record the serial on location in London in October with the team at Digital Drama. By pledging only £5 you will be sent the code to access the audio a month before the rest of the world. If you would like to get the code and be thanked in name, please pledge £10. To receive your own signed limited edition CD of the play, please pledge £25 (postage of £2 will be added for the UK and £5 for the rest of the world). Sponsoring an actor's recording session is a pledge of £50 and should you fancy a cameo role, cocktails with the producers or even the top position of Executive Producer, your pledges can bring you all these rewards. Thank you for your support for this exciting project.
