Speaking the Speech Masterclass

For young actors, exposure to Shakespearean acting can be a real barrier to entry at top drama schools. In March 2026, a group of actors from underrepresented backgrounds joined us at Shakespeare’s Globe to prepare audition monologues in a Speaking the Speech masterclass – supported by the Noël Coward Foundation, in memory of our Life President, Barry Day.
